The HIVE

The HIVE is opening! Article here > https://steps-centre.org/news/creative-engine-room-launched-in-brighton-to-respond-to-environmental-challenges/

The SYSTEM CHANGE HIVE is a community art collective dedicated to sharing knowledge about futures based on wellbeing and Systems Change. The Hive is the brain child of David Holyoake at Swarm Dynamics, Professor Julie Doyle Director of the Centre for Spatial, Environmental and Cultural Politics and the fantastic researchers at STEPS University of Sussex who together with a dozen artists are embarking on a journey into communicating Systems Change.

Kate Genevieve - chroma.space - is working as artist and mentor holding space with the artist Sam Hewitt and illustrator Mia Underwood and together with the Hive collective they are creating the Hidden Paths touring exhibition in support of world-changing creativity and radical imagination.

If you want to join the community online, we have a group over on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/SystemChangeHive/ And you are welcome to visit us in situ at my co-working space The FuseBox Level 4 North, New England House, New England Street, Brighton BN1 4GH to drop in and see what we are doing.

We are really eager to work with the wider arts and activism community in Brighton, so drop us a line if you'd like to know more kate@systemchangehive.org

A big thank you to the hard work and continual support of Persephone Pearl at ONCA Gallery and to Wired Sussex, particularly Rosalie Hoskins and Chris Chowen. The support of these Brighton organisations has given the ground for this project to come to life. Looking forward to the year of collaboration ahead.
